The New Jersey Devils selected defenseman Ryan Rehill (Kamloops, WHL) with the 131st choice (fifth round), center Joey Dudek with the 152nd choice (sixth round-from Florida) and left wing Brandon Baddock (Edmonton, WHL) with the 161st choice (sixth round) with their finals three picks in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
Rehill posted 4g-16a-20pts in 72 games for Kamloops last season. The 6-2, 200-lb. defenseman led the Western Hockey League with 182 PIM in 2013-14. Rehill added 8 PIM in nine playoff games for the Blazers.
Dudek recorded 9g-35a-44pts in 25 games for Kimball Union Academy (NH) last season. He also posted 1g-2a-3pts in five games at the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament in 2013. The Derry, NH native will play with Dubuque (USHL) next season but has committed to Boston College for 2015-16.
Baddock totaled 6g-11a-17pts for Edmonton (WHL) in 2013-14. He added 1g-0a-1pt and 6 PIM in 13 post-season games as the Oil Kings captured the WHL and Memorial Cup Championships. In three seasons with the Oil Kings, Baddock has compiled 18g-19a-37pts and 201 PIM in 152 games.
